Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a reservation or using any service at Hotel Vishranti. By booking a stay or using our facilities, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. These terms apply to all guests and visitors of Hotel Vishranti, Canal Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Booking & Reservations
All reservations at Hotel Vishranti are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment or valid credit card guarantee as specified at the time of booking.
Advance Payment
A deposit equivalent to the first night's tariff (inclusive of applicable taxes) is required to confirm your reservation. Reservations without a valid advance payment or credit card guarantee may be released without prior notice.
Rate Validity
Published rates are valid only for the dates specified at the time of booking. Hotel Vishranti reserves the right to revise rates for new bookings at any time without prior notice. Confirmed bookings will not be subject to rate revisions.
Group Bookings
Reservations of five (5) rooms or more are classified as group bookings and are subject to separate group terms, conditions, and cancellation policies. Please contact our sales team directly at bookings@vishrantiresorts.com for group enquiries.
Third-Party Bookings
Reservations made through online travel agencies (OTAs), travel agents, or third-party platforms are governed by both Hotel Vishranti's policies and the respective platform's policies. In the event of a conflict, the more restrictive policy shall apply.
Check-In & Check-Out
Standard Times
Standard check-in time is 14:00 (2:00 PM) IST and standard check-out time is 12:00 (12:00 noon) IST. These times are subject to room availability and may vary during peak seasons or high-occupancy periods.
Early Check-In
Early check-in prior to 14:00 IST is subject to availability and may be provided complimentarily or charged at half the applicable day rate at the hotel's discretion. Guaranteed early check-in from 08:00 IST requires booking from the previous night.
Late Check-Out
Late check-out up to 18:00 IST is available upon request and subject to availability, charged at 50% of the applicable day rate. Check-out after 18:00 IST will be charged at the full day rate. Requests should be made at least 12 hours in advance.
Identification
All guests are required to present valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or PAN Card) at the time of check-in as mandated by applicable law. Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Standard Cancellation
Cancellations made 72 hours or more prior to the scheduled date of arrival will receive a full refund of the advance deposit, less any applicable payment gateway or bank transaction charges.
Late Cancellation
Cancellations made between 48 and 72 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to one (1) night's room tariff (inclusive of applicable taxes).
Short-Notice Cancellation
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date of arrival will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to the full value of the first night's booking. No-shows will be charged the full advance deposit amount.
Peak Season & Special Events
Reservations made during peak seasons (including Diwali, Christmas, New Year, and long weekends) or for special event dates may be subject to stricter non-refundable cancellation policies as communicated at the time of booking.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment source. Hotel Vishranti is not liable for delays caused by banking or payment gateway processing timelines. Refunds for cash payments will be made via NEFT/bank transfer to a pre-verified account.
Non-Refundable Rates
Certain promotional and advance-purchase rates are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. This will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. Hotel Vishranti is unable to make exceptions to non-refundable rate conditions.
Guest Conduct & Property Use
Code of Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of other guests, hotel staff, and the property. Hotel Vishranti reserves the right to ask guests who are disruptive, abusive, or in violation of hotel policies to vacate the premises without a refund.
Visitors
Only registered guests are permitted in hotel rooms. Non-resident visitors must register at the front desk and are not permitted beyond public areas. The hotel reserves the right to restrict visitor access at its discretion.
Noise & Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are observed between 23:00 and 07:00 IST. Guests are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum during these hours, particularly in room corridors and outdoor areas.
Smoking Policy
Hotel Vishranti is a non-smoking property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas including rooms, corridors, and the lobby. Designated smoking areas are available outdoors. Guests found smoking in non-designated areas will be charged a deep-cleaning fee of ₹5,000.
Pets
Pets are not permitted anywhere within the hotel premises unless explicitly authorised in writing by hotel management at the time of booking.
Damage to Property
Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to hotel property, fixtures, or furnishings during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest's account or credit card on file.
Dining, Bar & In-Room Services
The Gaia Gourmet and The Spirit Tribe are subject to their own operating hours, reservation requirements, and service policies. Restaurant reservations are recommended and can be made at the front desk or by contacting the hotel directly.
Outside Food & Beverage
Guests are not permitted to consume outside food or beverages in the hotel's dining areas or poolside. Outside food and beverages may be consumed in private guest rooms at the guest's discretion.
Alcohol Policy
The Spirit Tribe holds a valid liquor licence as required under applicable Uttarakhand excise laws. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to any guest who appears intoxicated or is under the legal drinking age of 21 years.
Liability & Indemnification
Valuables
Hotel Vishranti is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of guest valuables, cash, jewellery, or personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safe provided or to deposit valuables with the front desk against a receipt.
Vehicles
Vehicles parked on hotel premises are parked at the owner's risk. Hotel Vishranti accepts no liability for theft, damage, or loss of or to vehicles or their contents.
Force Majeure
Hotel Vishranti shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, epidemics, or power failures.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Hotel Vishranti's total liability to any guest shall not exceed the total amount paid by that guest for their confirmed reservation.
Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
Hotel Vishranti collects personal information including your name, contact details, government ID, payment information, and stay preferences as required to process your reservation, comply with statutory requirements, and provide hotel services.
Use of Information
Your personal information is used to process bookings, send booking confirmations and communications, comply with legal obligations, and to improve our services. We may contact you with relevant offers and updates with your prior consent.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Information may be shared with trusted service providers (including payment processors and booking platforms) strictly as required to fulfil your reservation, and with regulatory authorities as required by law.
CCTV & Surveillance
For the safety and security of all guests and staff, CCTV cameras are in operation in common areas, entrances, and parking areas of the hotel. Footage is retained for a period of 30 days and may be provided to law enforcement upon a valid legal request.
Data Retention
Guest records, including identity documents and transaction records, are retained for a minimum of three (3) years as required under applicable Indian hospitality and financial regulations.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by us, subject to our legal obligations. To exercise these rights, please write to us at bookings@vishrantiresorts.com.

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
Amendments
Hotel Vishranti reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
